The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged Nigerians to use this Christmas season to foster love, unity, and care, transcending divisions of creed, class, or background.

In a statement signed by its National Publicity Secretary, Hon. Debo Ologunagba, the PDP emphasized that such unity was vital for Nigerians to endure the widespread hardship attributed to the policies of the All Progressives Congress (APC) government.

The party highlighted the essence of Christmas as a commemoration of the birth of Jesus Christ, symbolizing God’s eternal love and a reminder of divine solutions to life’s challenges, including the nation’s struggles.

The PDP lamented the dire state of poverty in the country, pointing out that millions of Nigerians could no longer afford daily meals, let alone celebrate the season with traditional family gatherings.

The party said many were stranded on deteriorating highways, unable to reunite with loved ones, further deepening the sense of despair.

Despite the grim circumstances, the PDP encouraged Nigerians to remain hopeful, urging them to embrace the blessings of Christmas and its message of hope and light.

The party called on citizens to support one another, sharing the joy of the season to uplift those in need.

The PDP extended its warm wishes for a merry Christmas to all Nigerians, reiterating the importance of standing together during challenging times.
