The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the nomination of some members to serve on the Anambra gubernatorial electoral appeal panel.
According to the party’s National Organizing Secretary, Col. Austin Akobundu (retd), the Panel would consider appeals arising from the conduct of the Anambra State Gubernatorial Primary Election.
Akobundu said Prince Uche Secondus would serve as the Chairman of the panel.
He said other members of the panel were Elder Yemi Akinwonmi, Sen. Sulaiman Nazif, Col Austin Akobundu, Dr Agbo Emmanuel, Hon. Abdullahi Maibasira, Hon. Adewale Aribisala, Hon. Kola Ologbondiyan, Haj. Mrs Maryam Waziri, Rt Hon. S.K.E Udeh Okoye, Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, Alh. Mai Adamu Mustapha, HE. Amb. Taofik Arapaja, Rt Hon. Theophilus Dakas Shan, Chief Dan Orbih, Dr Emmanuel Bovoa, Chief Ali Odefa, Dr Aminu Abdullahi, HE Sule Lamido, Alh. Adamu Maina Waziri, HE Sen. David A.B. Mark, Chief Onyema Ugochukwu, H.E. Erelu Olusola Obada, Sen. Emmanuel Ibokessien and Sen. Umaru Ibrahim Tsauri, who would be the secretary of the panel.
Akobundu said the appeal Panel would commence sitting on 1:00pm Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at NWC Hall, Wadata Plaza, Abuja FCT.
