Paystack has suspended its Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Ezra Olubi, following allegations of sexual misconduct at workplace.

It was gathered that the fintech company initiated a formal internal investigation after several old tweets linked to Olubi resurfaced online on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.

Though his X account has since been deleted, the posts — shared between 2009 and 2013 — contained sexually explicit jokes about colleagues, references to physical arousal during meetings, and remarks involving minors, bestiality, and sexualised characters.

One of the tweets also showed a desire to photograph a coworker’s thighs.

Paystack confirmed it was aware of the allegations and had immediately placed Olubi on suspension pending a comprehensive review.
