Kolade Alabi, the chairman of Bariga Local Government Area in Lagos State, slumped on Wednesday during a stakeholders’ meeting of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting was held at the party’s secretariat in Ikeja, the state capital.
The council chairman, who also serves as the Lagos State Chairman of the Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON)—was addressing party members when the incident occurred.
Fortunately, he was revived and promptly taken to the hospital in an ambulance for further medical attention.
