Adegboyega Oyetola, former Governor of Osun, has called on members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state to remain resolute and collaborate with the Prof. Isaac Adewole-led committee tasked with repositioning the party.
Despite recent challenges, Oyetola affirmed that Osun remained the stronghold of the progressives and urged everyone to work together to improve productivity, effective service delivery, and benefits of all residents.
In his message to party faithful on Thursday, Oyetola stressed that “Osun undoubtedly remains the home of the progressives in the South West.”
He emphasized the need to take necessary steps to make the party stronger and more formidable for future elections.
The former governor pointed out that the Adewole committee was not only expedient but also necessary to achieve this goal.
Oyetola also highlighted the improvement in the party’s fortunes in the 2019 General Elections compared to the 2018 governorship election and the massive support the APC received from Osun voters in the last Presidential election.
He stressed the importance of sustaining the people’s love for the APC, calling on party members to support the committee’s efforts to reposition the party and prepare for future elections.
