As the Local Organising Committee and Technical and Facility Committee for the Osun Sports Festival continues the inspection of some of the facilities that would be used for the sporting events, four ball games; and two other events have been penciled down to take place at the Federal Polytechnic, Ede.
The committee led by the representative of the state Commissioner for Youth and Sports and the secretary of the LOC, Mr Layi Adesiyan were taken round the facilities by the assistant coach of the institution, Coach Owoeye.
The secretary alongside LOC. secretary, Mr Demola Daini; the stadium manager, Mr Deremi Oladimeji, including Media and Publicity member, Mrs Funmilayo Moradeyo, inspected the football pitch; basketball, volleyball and handball courts when it was discovered that all the courts need to be lined, painting, new nets as well as general cleaning of the venue.
In addition to this, the institution will also accommodate the games of judo and taekwondo because of the good indoor sports hall.
The team also moved to Iwo Town hall where boxing would take place while ayo and draught will take place in Apomu.
