The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leadership caucus in Osun State has passed a vote of confidence in Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The Osun PDP caucus, in a meeting held on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at the Government House in Osogbo, said it had unanimously supported “any decision Adeleke takes on the growing rumour of defection to another political party.”
The Osun PDP leaders who commended the governor’s leadership and performance in office mandated him to continue consultations with all stakeholders locally and nationally.
The party’s leaders, in a communique issued after the meeting, said they would “follow Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke wherever he goes.”
The leaders added that the governor was still consulting on the next lines of action.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor Kola Adewusi; Deputy Senate Minority leader, Senator Lere Oyewumi; and Osun PDP Chairman, Sunday Bisi; among others.
