The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, House of Assembly candidate for Ife North State Constituency in the coming 2023 general elections, Prince Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi, has advised people of his constituency to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) ready and present it to enable them participate in the general elections which are around the corner.
Prince Oyewusi said PVCs were the only tools that could be used to elect credible leaders during the elections period.
The PDP House of Assembly Candidate gave the advice while briefing journalists shortly after a political meeting with large numbers of youths in the constituency on Sunday.
Prince Oyewusi emphasised that, without the PVC, nobody would be allowed to vote, saying it was important for every electorate to have his or her PVC, which would enable them to vote.
The young and vibrant politician who was highly elated about the mammoth crowd having meeting with him at the market square in Ipetumodu, told the people of Ife North Local Government Area to trust him and all other candidates of the party with their votes saying, “As a youth, I have the needed requirements to contest for the state house of Assembly and I promise not not take the peoples trust for granted.
“I am calling on our party faithful not to sell their votes because the time to make things right is now.
“My antecedents are visible to everyone, and I am assuring the people of Ife North of good representation.
“I am capable of delivering the needed dividends of Democracy to them.
“Serving the people gives me joy, and I won’t disappoint them if I am giving the support to win the election and be their representative in the Osun State House of Assembly,” he said.
Prince Oyewusi who commended the people of Ife North state constituency and entire Osun State for demonstrating their unalloyed support to the governor of the state, Senator Nurudeen Jackson Ademola Adeleke and his deputy since their assumption in office appealed to them to extend the same love to the PDP Presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, his running mate, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa during the presidential election on Saturday.
