Five notable Nigerians, including the Senator representing Osun Central, Senator Ajibola Basiru, the state Director TU-E Capital investment, Alhaji Toyin Agidi, the executive director lead generation initiative, Mrs Ayobola Peller and People Democratic Party (PDP) Chieftain Osun state, Hon. Sanya Omirin, Osun state Commissioner of Police, Mr Olawale Olokode as well as International brewery, Ilesa will be honoured at the dinner and award night of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun state Council 2021 press week on Thursday.
Some media professionals who have distinguished themselves in their chosen career will also receive professional award at the event.
A statement by the Chairman and Secretary of Dinner and Award night, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Comrade Bukola Elufadejin indicated that Osun state governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola is the special guest of honour while his counterpart from Lagos state, Mr Babajide Sanwoo-Ou is the key note speaker.
The statement noted that Asiwaju of Ijesaland, Chief Olayinka Fasuyi is the chairman of the occasion while Owaloko of iloko Ijesa, Oba Hakeem Ogungbangbe and Alapomu of Apomu,Oba Kayode Afolabi are the royal fathers of the day.
