Osun guber: I’m in race to pay back my community, says Fasogbon, PDP aspirant

The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) governorship aspirant in the 2022 election in Osun State, John Fasogbon has disclosed that he decided to join the race because the society has given him so much and it was about time he paid back.

Fasogbon made this known while fielding questions from newsmen in Ile-Ife on Friday.

The PDP gubernatorial aspirant said, if voted into power, he would work towards the transformation of the state through his planned developmental programmes.

He said his government would work for development of rural dwellers as he would create better life programme for them.

The Ife born politician assured the people of Osun State of his intention to advance development in education, job opportunities through integrated exploration of technology, improved welfare for public service workers and other prospective strategies to ensure that the state becomes better and greater than other states.

“There is going to be prompt payment of civil servants salary as well as their promotion as and when due. Also, the retirees will be catered for adequately with payment of their benefits and pension.

“Similarly, there is going to be social welfare programmes while agriculture will be used to boost the state economy among other better life developmental programmes under my administration”, he promised.

Fasogbon, who is a grassroots mobilizer, philanthropist and caring politician, has organised developmental programmes for youths and other initiatives for entrepreneurs in the state.

On the issue of insecurity, he said: “I have all it takes to tackle insecurity in our dear state as I know how to use kinetic and non-kinetic approaches to get the security of the state at the top realm.”
