The All Progressive Congress (APC) Osun State Youth Leader, Hon Olagoke Akinwemimo, has called on the entire youths in the state to remain calm and be law abiding due to the outcome of the just concluded governorship election last Saturday.
Akinwemimo made this call while reacting to the outcome of the election.
In a press statement issued and made available to newsmen in Osogbo the Osun state capital on Friday the APC Youth leader admonished all youths across the state not to allow the outcome of the election cause dissatisfaction and division within the youth wings of the party, saying that the APC still remains the ruling party in the state.
Akinwemimo, who preached peace and unity among the APC youths, enjoined them not to allow the development to affect all the various meetings in the state.
According to him in the statement, “I am strongly appealing to every youths of our dear party in Osun not to be disturbed but continue to demonstrate your loyalty and unalloyed support as the APC would continue to wax stronger and stronger in the state under the able leadership of our amiable governor, Mr Gboyega Oyetola.
“We youths in Osun should not see what happened last Saturday as the end of the road as our father, Mr Governor has told us the next level of action. We should continue to demonstrate our complete support to Governor Oyetola as he remain in the office.”
Akinwemimo however urged them not to foment trouble in their various local government area of the state while they should continue to demonstrate complete peace and continue to search for the betterment of the APC.
