The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Saturday said its operatives arrested no fewer than three suspects for alleged vote buying in the Osun governorship election.
The suspects were arrested around Ward 2 unit 2 Ifelodun Street Isale Osun in Osogbo, the state capital.
The EFCC said in statement that its ooeratives arrested the suspects who were captured allegedly trading votes for cash.
Their arrest, according to the anti-graft agency, was consequent upon an actionable intelligence through digital means.
The commission, however, said it would arraign the suspects.
