The newly- appointed Permanent Secretary deployed in Osun State Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Mrs Adebimpe Ogunlumade, has tasked the staff members of the Ministry to renew their dedication to duties, not only in the establishment, but in the State.
Mrs Ogunlumade gave the charge in his maiden address to members of staff in her office.
She asserted that increasing productivity and punctuality at work were some of the means through which workers could reciprocate the gesture of government, adding that workers must avoid lateness to work and absentism without genuine reasons.
The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry emphasized further that hard-work was the soul of business, and that all workers should be committed to whatever assignment was committed to him or her, warning that she would not condone any form of laziness.
She also enjoined members of staff to always pray for the State Government in its quest to carry out its statutory responsibilities effectively for the benefits of all.
In their separate remarks, all the management members in the Ministry welcomed the new accounting officer and appreciated her for deeming it fit to meet with them on her first day in office.
