The Chairman, Osun chapter of the All Progressive Congress Party (APC), Prince Adegboyega Famodun, has assured Osun residents of continuous provision of devidend of democracy by voting Governor Adegboyega Oyetola back into office during forth coming gubernatorial election.
The APC Chairman who was represented by Prince Kunle Famodun stated this at Idi-Ogun, Oluode Compound, Okinni town, in Egbedore Local Council Development Area where he was hosted by the residents of the area for the development of the area.
Prince Famodun said the administration of Governor Oyetola will continue to strive in its efforts at making sure that dividends of democracy are enjoyed by Osun citizens across the state.
The APC Chairman said the present government in Osun is determined, more than ever before to ensure that dividends of democracy spread across the nook and cranny of the state in order to make life comfortable for all.
He however enjoined the residents of Okinni to get their voters card ready to re-elect Oyetola and also to vote former Governor of Lagos State, Senator Bola Ahamed Tinubu as the new president of Nigeria.
In his speech, the Executive Secretary, Osun SUBEB, Mr Adeoye Bakare, who is from Okinni town enumerated some of the dividend of democracy that had already been put in place for benefit of the residents which include construction of new school buildings, among others.
Bakare stressed further that plans are underway on construction of more school buildings, provision of bore holes and construction good net road for the benefit of Okinni LCDA residents.
He therefore implored all residents of Okinni and Osun at large to give their maximum support to the present administration, under the leadership of Oyetola on his second term bid in office so that lots of more deliverables could be enjoyed in the town and the state as whole.
In their separate remarks, the Chairman of Okinni Local Government Development Area, Hon. Azeez Usamotu, the royal father of Alayedun of Ayedun town, Oba Agboola Azeez Obasanjo and Okinni Ward 10 Chairman, Chief Akibu Opatunji applauded Governor Oyetola’s good works across the state, including Okinni LCDA.
They however promised that residents of Okinni are solidly behind Governor Oyetola’s second tenure campaign while reaffirming that his second term in office is unshakeable so that the town and the state at large will continue to enjoy the the dividend of democracy.
There was handing over of APC flag and broom to a defector, the Edo State indegenes Chairman, Osun Chapter, Mr Isiwele Micheal, decamping from People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC by the representative of APC Chairman.
