Osogbo west chairmanship aspirant pledges better life

As the local government election draws nearer in Osun State, the All Progressive Congress, APC, Chairmanship Aspirant for Osogbo West Local Council Development Area of the state, Hon Taoheed Yisa Badmus (Taocom), has promised to turn around the fortunes of the council area if voted into power.

This was contained in his congratulatory message to the Ataoja of Osogbo, HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Abidemi Olanipekun (Larooye II) on his 10th years coronation anniversary and made available to The Conclave in Osogbo the state capital on Sunday.

Hon Badmus, who is also a Journalist, said in the message that, it was not a matter of “making mouth” that he has the charisma of governing the local government because he had been tested and assessed by his teeming supporters while he had not been found wanting at any point in time.

According to him, “My own is not a do-or-die affair but I am just soliciting for the unflinching support of both my leaders and all members of our party in the area towards my victory.”

“If finally voted into power as the Chairman, I promise to follow the four cardinal points of our party towards the betterment of the people of my council area,” Hon. Badmus assured the people ofbthe local govetnment area.

While speaking on the monarch, “The reign of Ataoja is very peaceful and the landmark development recorded by the entire Osogboland since the assumption of His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Abidemi Olanipekun (Larooye II) on the throne of his forefathers is a testament to his enviable reign.

“The leadership quality being exhibited by the Ataoja since his assumption to the throne has helped to unite the indigenes and non-Indigenes of the ancient city and aided the development of the city.

“May God Almighty continue to overwhelm you the Ataoja of Osogbo land with abundance of grace, wisdom and peace.”
