*Orbih is a progressive minded Nigerian, says Ihionvbere
Former governor of Edo State and senator representing Edo North at the Upper Chamber of the National Assembly, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, Hon Prof Julius Ihionvbere and the leadership of the PDP, were among notable leaders tha felicitated Chief Dan Orbih on his 62nd birthday on Saturday.
In his message to the celebrator, Ihionvbere, who is leader of the House of Representatives, described Orbih, National Vice Chairman, South/South of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, as a progressive-minded Nigerian whose commitment to effective and progressive governance and service delivery to the citizenry remained unquestionable.
.Ihionvbere, who represents Owan Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, stated this in a birthday message to Chief Dan Orbih which was made available to journalists in Abuja by his senior aide on media/public affairs, Joshua Ojesemen Iraoya.
The Reps Leader noted that his close association with Orbih, which had spanned over two decades showed a man whose knack for excellence in leadership and service delivery to the people remained boundless irrespective of whether the individual in question was of the same political affiliation with him or not.
He said that despite the fact that they both belonged to different political parties in recent times, Chief Orbih had consistently maintained close affinity with him and had always had reasons to commend him for his undying passion and resourcefulness in delivering qualitative service to mankind.
Ihonvbere added that despite their political differences, he and Chief Dan Orbih had continued to remain as brothers and compatriots who shared an undiluted belief that the Afenmai people and Nigeria in general must move forward on the path of progress and development to the overall benefit of the people.
While joining thousands of Chief Dan Orbih’s well wishers, friends and family in wishing him well on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, Prof Julius Ihonvbere prayed God to grant Chief Dan Osi Orbih many more fruitful and productive years in service to humanity.
