Oni Stated this during the unveiling of family house at the Ado-Ekiti, the state capital on Monday.
The former Governor said irrespective of their differences and political frictions, they were still one big family.
He added that the central office and its annexes, would be opened to every member of the party to interact, argue and socialize.
“To the glory of God, for the benefit of mankind and in compliance with the COVID-19 safety protocols, we are unveiling this important edifice to keep faith with our avowed commitment to build a community of love, and promote fellowship building and teamwork among our members in the Peoples Democratic Party.
“Irrespective of our differences and political frictions, we are still a one big family, and this central office and its annexes, will be opened to every member of the party to interact, argue and socialize.
“It is also a veritable physical platform for bringing party members together to proffer solutions to issues and complement what the party executives and leaderships in the state are doing to bring all of us together,” Oni said.
He further stated that the party needed unity, togetherness, dedication and an aggressive membership drive towards building a big and an inclusive PDP that would work to protect the interest of its members, accommodate all and exclude none.
“As a party, our political fraternity must be in conformity with the popular saying: ‘the more the merrier’, and we must continue to strive to leave no one behind.
“Therefore, with the concurrent inauguration of this central place and its first annex along Ajilosun road, we are committed to opening more annexes for physical meeting points and where frank conversations and open dialogues can take place unhindered. This is the essence of the PDP Family initiative,” Oni said.
