Pandemonium broke as one person was reportedly killed on Sunday while many others sustained serious injuries when suspected armed masquerader attacked a mosque located at Oluode Aranyin area of Osogbo, Osun state.
Our Correspondent gathered that, it was a masquerader that stoned worshipers before the hooded gunmen opened fire on them which led to the death of Baba Adini of the mosque simply identified as Moshood Salawudeen.
The Imam of the Mosque, Qusum Yunus confirmed the incident to newsmen saying, the Jamaa organised a prayer for the nation titled “Prayer for the Nation” to pray for Nigeria over the rising insecurity challenges.
It was gathered that the incident happened around 2:30 pm on Sunday.
