Former Super Eagles captain, Austin “Jay-Jay” Okocha, has taken his wife Nkechi to the Maldives to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary and her 50th birthday.
The couple renewed their vows on Sunday in a ceremony attended by their close friends and loved ones.
They also had a feast on Saturday in celebration of Nkechi’s 50th birthday.
Among those who joined the couple in the Maldives to celebrate with them was singer Patoranking.
The couple got married in 1998, the year Okocha made the reserve team of the FIFA World Cup All-Star.
It was the same year he moved from Fenerbahce to Paris Saint Germain as the most expensive African player at that time.
The 25-year-old union is blessed with two children – Ajay and Daniella. [QED]
