Cairo Ojougboh, Immediate past Interim Executive Director of Project, at the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has asked members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta state not to vote “Mace Rustler” as their governor in 2023.
Ojougboh stated this while addressing factional members of the party in the state.
His words: “Our candidate must be of very god character. In the North, there is something they call cow rustling, it means stealing cows.
“In the National Assembly, he rustled mace and something who can rustle mace in the open, on international TV, on NTA and everybody was watching. Are you going to support that person to become a governor? All Deltans know that this is a man who can rustle mace in the afternoon, if you make him a governor, he rustle all your money.
“Is that what you want? So, we must begin to work hard, we are going to produce a candidate that all of you will agree that he is going to respect us and will not rustle properties.”
