Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, who was on Saturday conferred with the customary title of the Oduma (the Lion) of Auchi Sacred Kingdom by the Otaru of Auchi, Alhaji H.A. Momoh, IkelebeIII, has expressed profuse thanks to personalities who graced the occasion with their presence.
In a post on his social media handles, the Minister said he was “honoured and humbled beyond words to be conferred with the customary title of Oduma of Auchi Sacred by HIs Royal Highness, Alhaji H.A. Momoh, Ikelebe III, the Otaru of Auchi, on Saturday in Edo State.”
He said he was particularly grateful to His Excellency, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, GCON, for finding time to attend the event.
He also ecpressed gratitude to a former Edo State Governor and one-time national chairman of the APC, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, members of Federal Executive Council, the Deputy Governor of Edo State, Comrade Philip Shaibu, and other leaders of the All Progressive Congress (APC).
Others mentioned included Ambassadors of the Republic of Korea and Japan to Nigeria, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Budget and National Planning, Mrs Olusola Idowu, Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, Mr Ernest Umakhike, Heads of Agencies and Parastatals under the Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning, representatives of development partners, friends, associates and well-wishers.
According to Agba: “I do not take this show of love and support lightly.
