The All Progressives Congress (APC) has officially announced the 24-member Transition Committee tasked with working with the outgoing administration of Governor Godwin Obaseki.
The committee is led by Dr Pius Odubu, who will honcho the team in ensuring a smooth handover to the incoming government of Senator Monday Okpebholo.
This was contained in a letter dated October 14, 2024, signed by Emperor Jarrett Tenebe, APC Chairman, Edo State, and addressed to Governor Obaseki.
The party expressed its readiness for a collaborative transition process, stating: “We look forward to a smooth and effective collaboration with our 24-member Committee, headed by Chief Pius Odubu, for meaningful discussions that will lead to a seamless transition.”
