The Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has renamed a street after the former Senate president of the 8th assembly, Dr Abubakar Bukola Saraki.
The Governor who newly decamped to the Peoples Democratic Party, on Friday, renamed the street as he pledged his allegiance to his new party.
The governor renamed street in Auchi, Edo state, from Adams Oshiomole Crescent to Bukola Saraki Boulevard.
The street was formerly named after the former governor and immediate predecessor of Obaseki Comrade Adams Oshiomole.
Obaseki and his predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole have been at loggerheads and all peaceful avenue to settle their differences have failed.
Oshiomhole who is the national chairman of the APC has vowed that Obaseki will not return on the platform of the party and has picked Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu to succeed him.
