Obasanjo appeals to NPP, NDC to ensure peaceful election in Ghana

Former President, Olusegun Obasanjo, has appealed to the two leading political parties in Ghana to ensure peace and stability in the nation.

Obasanjo’s pacific intervention was contained in a letter to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

The letter was dispatched to the parties ahead of the December 7, 2020 general election in that country.

Obasanjo, who was chair of the African Union (AU), urged NPP and NDC to do the Africa proud as the continent was counting on their patrotism during and after the exercise.
