NUJ FCT chairman urges unity and compassion on Eid-el-Fitr

Comrade Grace Ike, Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council, has extended warm Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslim faithful in the Federal Capital Territory, emphasising the importance of unity, compassion, and social harmony.

In a press statement, Ike commended Muslims for their commitment to the values of Ramadan, describing their dedication as “commendable and inspiring”.

She urged Muslim journalists to sustain the virtues of patience, tolerance, and generosity, stressing their role in strengthening community unity and advancing national interests.

Ike also called on Nigerians to embrace unity and mutual respect, highlighting the nation’s diversity as a strength.

She encouraged acts of kindness to the less privileged, reminding citizens that Eid-el-Fitr is a time for sharing and empathy.
