BEVERLY HILLS, March 20, (THEWILL) – The National Universities Commission (NUC) has approved the closure of all universities in the country in response to the threat of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
This was disclosed in a circular signed by the commission’s Deputy Executive Secretary (Academics), Dr Suleiman Ramon-Yusuf, on behalf of the Executive Secretary, on Friday.
It said Vice-Chancellors should ensure the closure of the schools from Monday, March 23,
“All Universities shall be closed for one month as from Monday 23rd March, 2020.
“Vice-Chancellors are kindly requested to ensure immediate compliance,” the circular read in part
