Nine years after the marriage between Nollywood actor, Olaniyi Afonja, popularly known as Sanyeri, and Hawawu Omolara crashed, Hawawu has confirmed how her separation from Sanyeri happened.
She disclosed this on her Instagram page, causing a stir among the actor’s fans.
She wrote; “Two adults, especially the ones with kids, can decide to maintain a cordial relationship for the sake of their children.
“It doesn’t mean they don’t know what they are doing; not everyone wants the media in their private lives, and as such, people should endeavour to mind their own business.

“I mean, even though we are no longer living in the same country, being single for exactly 9 years and co-parenting with my ex-husband hasn’t been all bed of roses for us.
“I continue to do well in performing my right duties and what is expected of a single mother and a woman with children, and he performs the same duties and fatherly rights for our children.”
