The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has increased the pump price of Premium Motor Spirit, also called petrol, by N45 to N915 per litre in Lagos State.
The pump price of petrol was also increased by N35 to N945 per litre in Abuja.
Before now, the product was sold at N870 per litre in Lagos, and N910 in Abuja.
Reports said that the NNPC Limited filling stations increased the pump price of petrol on Monday, June 23, 2025.
MRS filling stations, a Dangote refinery partner, increased the price of the product to N925 per litre in Lagos — from N875 per litre.
The development happened two days after the refinery increased the ex-depot price of petrol to N880 per litre.
