The Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Bayelsa State Chapter, is set to hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) and elect new executive officers to pilot the affairs of the chapter.
In a press statement signed by the Chairman of the Election Committee, SP Gunn Ewhoborwo Emonena, and the Secretary, Okpobodisere Vivian Deiseidei-Oputu, the committee urged all registered members in Bayelsa State to attend the event.
According to the statement, the AGM and election are scheduled to take place at Ayabowei Plaza, opposite Kpansia Market, Yenagoa.
The statement described the elections as crucial for ensuring continuity, good governance, and effective representation of members’ interests.

It added that the meeting will also feature the election of new leaders to steer the affairs of the Bayelsa State Chapter for the next term.
Members were further urged to maintain decorum throughout the process, vote responsibly, and actively uphold the Institute’s democratic principles.
