Some Nigerians residing in United Kingdom, on Friday, staged a protest demanding the resignation of President Muhammadu Buhari for abandoning Nigeria for medical attention in the country.

President Buhari left Abuja about 2:30 pm on Tuesday for what the Presidency described as “routine medical check-up.”

However, despite the United Kingdom government’s subsisting COVID-19 ban on mass gatherings, angry Nigerians took to the vicinity of Abuja House to protest against President Buhari.

Most of those that spoke demanded the President’s resignation for travelling out of the country if he cannot fix the nation’s health system to serve the health needs of all Nigerians.
