The Federal Government on Sunday clarified that the removal of reciprocity visa fees did not mean that Nigerians would not pay visa fees.
The government, in a statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said Nigerian visa applicants would now pay $160 down from $270, a decrease of $$110.
The fees was raised to $270 by the U.S. Government to match what Nigerian Government charged Americans.
The Nigerian Government had reverted to $160 and the U.S. Government has now reciprocated with the same gesture.
