The Chief of Operations at Naval Headquarters, Rear Admiral Musa Katagum, has died in a brief illness.
Katagum, a senior officer of the Nigerian Navy, previously served at Defence Headquarters and was also former Chief of Naval Intelligence before his recent appointment as Chief of Operations by the Chief of Naval Staff.
