The Nigerian Government has condemned and rejected the coup d’etat that took place in the Republic of Guinea on Sunday.
In a statement by Spokesperson, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Esther Sunsuwa, the country said the coup d’etat was a clear violation of the ECOWAS Protocol on Democracy and Good Governance.
The country called on those behind the coup to restore constitutional order without delay and protect life and property.
