Again, Nigeria’s covid-19 death is on the rise with additional 15 recorded on Sunday, bringing total deaths to 143.
Also, 248 new cases were recorded, bringing the total confirmed cases to 4,399, Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC announced.

NCDC also apologised to the Federal Capital Territory Administration for erroneously announcing a wrong figure of 45 discharged cases and 4 deaths in FCT on the 9th of May
“On the 9th of May, we announced 45 discharged cases and 4 deaths in FCT
“Due to system error, 32 discharged cases and 2 deaths were wrongly announced
”Therefore, FCT recorded 13 discharged cases and 2 deaths on May 9 2020
”We apologise to the Federal Capital Territory Administration for this error. The NCDC remains committed to providing valid and accurate data,” the centre said
