Nigeria has recorded 184 new cases of the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), bringing the total infections to 4,971
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in a tweet on Wednesday night confirmed the new cases.
Of the 184 new cases, the centre said 51 were from Lagos, 23 from Jigawa, 16 in Bauchi, 16 in Katsina, 14 from Kano, 10 in FCT, 10 in Rivers, 9 in Kwara, 5 in Delta, 5 in Kaduna, 4 in Sokoto, 4 in Oyo
The centre added that Kebbi, Nasarawa and Osun recorded 3 cases each, while Ondo recorded 2.
It said Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, Anambra, Plateau and Niger recorded 1 each
The NCDC also said that six new patients died, bringing the total number of deaths to 164.
According to the agency, 184 new confirmed cases and 6 deaths were recorded on May 13.
