Chairman/CEO, Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NiDCOM), Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa has congratulated the duo of Foluke Laosebikan and Sesugh Uhaa, alas Apollo Crews.
Foluke Laosebikan was recently appointed as the Queen’s Counsel in Canada, and US-born Nigerian Professional Wrestler, Sesugh Uhaa, aka, “Apollo Crews” defeated Ettore “Big E” Ewen to claim the new Intercontinental Championship.
Dabiri-Erewa, in a statement on Monday by the Head, Media, Public Relations and Publicity of NIDCOM, Abdur-Rahman Balogun, said their achievements were “a testament that Nigerians are truly remarkable, hardworking and trailblazers in whatever they set their minds and hearts to.”
She said: “On behalf of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, I commend you both for keeping the flag flying. These successes will inspire many young Nigerians who look up to you, to know that anything is possible if you can believe and work hard towards it”.
