(News Alert) Okowa, accompanied by security personnel, bids to falsify election results in Ika Northeast

Pieces of credible information reaching the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Organisation have confirmed that the outgoing governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, facing defeat in his domain, has begun touring the polling units in Ika Northeast to falsify election results.

Having assembled a retinue of security operatives from different agencies, Okowa has been desperately seeking all measures to change results from the polling units in his local government after it emerged that his candidate from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is losing to APC’s Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.

We hereby urge the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to ensure that its officials promptly upload and transmit the results through their Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) to the INEC portal.

We also urge our supporters, security personnel, and election monitors to be vigilant and ensure that the results are not altered by Okowa and his team in Ika Northeast.
