The National Emergency Management Agency says its website has been breached by suspected hackers and is working to lock things down.
In a statement, NEMA said it’s already taking technical steps to fix the breach, secure the platform, and get normal operations back online.
While repairs are ongoing, the agency is warning the public to ignore anything suspicious coming from the site. That includes misleading information, fake announcements, and any requests for money linked to the compromised website or related channels.
NEMA apologized for the inconvenience and said efforts are underway to resolve the issue quickly and tighten security on its digital platforms.
