Nigerian Senator Ned Nwoko has refuted viral claims suggesting he is trying to reconcile with his estranged wife, Regina Daniels.

In a statement shared on Instagram, Nwoko stressed that he was not communicating with Daniels and had no intention of bringing her back.

According to him, his only concern was for her to seek professional help, alleging that she was influenced by drugs and that her public statements were untrue.

“I am not chatting with Regina, and I don’t want her back in my life. I just want her to go for therapy. She is under the influence of dr*gs and whatever she says are lies,” he stated. Nwoko further recounted an incident where he woke up at dawn and unexpectedly found her in his bathroom.

“I was shocked that she videoed me in the bathroom and posted it online. That is how irrational she had become,” he added.

He urged those close to Daniels to prioritise her wellbeing.

According to him, “If anyone around her claims to love her and care for the kids, they should take her to a rehab centre.”

Nwoko alleged that Daniels had been making progress until her birthday celebration, where things reportedly spiralled out of control.

He claimed she rented an entire floor of a hotel in Wuse 2, where she and her friends spent four days involved in “dr*gs, v!olence and f!ghts with the police and other guests.”

He said, “This was the beginning of the end,” and directed followers to a WhatsApp message he said he sent her on October 17, included in his post’s third slide.
