The NDLEA Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a statement issued on Sunday, December 21, 2025.

Babafemi said the 39-year-old woman was trailed to her home in the Surulere area of Lagos where she was arrested on December 9, 2025.

The NDLEA spokesman noted that a thorough search of the suspect’s home led to the discovery of blocks of cocaine weighing 23.50 kilograms concealed in a black suit case recovered from her children’s room.

“She admitted ownership of the drug consignment worth over N5 billion in street value,” Babafemi added.
