NCDMB to Host 2026 Midstream, Downstream Summit

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) is set to host the 2026 Oil & Gas Midstream & Downstream Stakeholders Summit.

The event is scheduled to hold from May 19 to 20, 2026, at Four Points by Sheraton Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. It will be hosted by the NCDMB Executive Secretary, Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe.

According to a Press Statement issued to newsmen in Yenagoa by Dr. Obinna Ezeobi, General Manager Corporate Division at NCDMB, the summit will bring together key industry players, government officials, regulators, institutional investors, financiers, operators and EPC contractors to explore emerging opportunities in the sector.

The statement noted that the gathering is expected to serve as a strategic platform for stakeholder engagement, partnership building, and investment promotion.

It is coming on the heels of the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA), which is aimed at enhancing transparency and creating a more investor-friendly business environment.

Discussions will centre on the implementation of the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act 2010 and the Ministerial Regulations 2021.

A major highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the new NCDMB Midstream and Downstream Operating Model.

The summit will also feature high-level policy dialogues, regulatory insights, networking opportunities, and exposure to fresh investment prospects across the oil and gas value chain.
