NCDMB recommits to transparency with revamped anti-corruption unit

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has reconstituted the Executive Committee and membership of its Anti-Corruption and Transparency Unit (ACTU).

The inauguration ceremony was held at the Nigerian Content Tower, Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.

Representing NCDMB Executive Secretary Engr. Felix Omatsola Ogbe, Dr. Abdulmalik Halilu, Director of Corporate Services and ACTU Chairman, emphasized the Board’s focus on institutional integrity and its ongoing collaboration with the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) to fulfill ACTU’s mandate.

Delivering a goodwill message, Mrs. Ekere Usiere, ICPC Resident Anti-Corruption Commissioner for Rivers State, praised NCDMB’s strong ethical record.

She urged the newly appointed ACTU members to act with impartiality and discipline, cautioning against unfair practices.

“Work collaboratively to sustain accountability within the Board,” she advised.

The ceremony featured the presentation of the ACTU Standing Orders and Operations Manual to the Executive Secretary and the oath-taking by newly appointed members.

Speaking on behalf of the unit, Dr. Halilu reaffirmed their dedication to promoting transparency across NCDMB operations, with continued support from the ICPC.

Present at the event were Mrs. Seleke-ere Owoupele, SERVICOM Manager and ACTU Secretary; Ozimede Suleiman, General Manager of Facilities and Logistics; Mrs. Obioma Iweka, Head of Treasury Finance and Accounts; and other senior officials. Mr. Ilu Azekome, Dr. Ademola Kaka, and Ms. Fateema Mohammed from the Planning and Research Division participated virtually.
