Nigeria on Thursday recorded 193 new cases of coronavirus (Covid-19), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 5,162.
According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, Lagos recorded 58 cases followed by Kano and Jigawa states that recorded 46 and 35 respectively.
Prompt News reports that the number of deaths is still on the rise climbing to 167 today.
However, there is good news that no fewer than 1,180 patients have recovered and discharged nationwide.
