The Osun Chapter of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) has congratulated Senator Ademola Nurudeen Jackson Adeleke, the Governor of Osun State, on his recent Supreme Court victory that affirmed him as the executive governor of the state.
In a release signed by the Chairperson, Mrs. Motunrayo Ayegbayo and the Secretary, Comrade Abisola Ariwodola, the association attributed Governor Adeleke’s victory to God and the acceptance of the good people of the state.
NAWOJ took the opportunity to call on the people of the state to support Governor Adeleke to achieve great success.
The association also urged the government to appoint good cabinet members, including women, in the interest of the development of the state.
NAWOJ pledged its cooperation and partnership with the administration and congratulated the wives of the governor and other cabinet members already with the government.
The association said it hoped that the government would prioritize the welfare and empowerment of women in the state.
