APC governorship aspirant in Nasarawa State, Prof. Mohammad Sani Haruna, has told supporters that his ambition is not worth the blood of anyone, urging them to avoid violence ahead of Thursday’s primary election.
Speaking at a rally in Akwanga, headquarters of Nasarawa North Senatorial Zone, the former Executive Vice Chairman of NASENI said the contest should be peaceful.
“You don’t need to quarrel, you don’t need to insult, you don’t need to fight with anybody. Our interest to serve the state is not worth anybody shedding his blood,” Haruna said.
He cautioned against harassment of security personnel, disruption of voting, and ccampaigning on polling premises.
He urged supporters to come out, vote, monitor counting and collation, and escort results to collation centres.
Haruna promised equitable distribution of state resources and pledged to continue the infrastructure development drive of Governor Abdullahi Sule if elected.
“If you believe Governor Sule has worked selflessly to open up Nasarawa State with modern iinfrastructue development, then there is every need to elect another engineer in the person of Engr Mohammed Sani Haruna to continue with the development records of the governor,” he said.
