The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has successfully carried out precision airstrikes, eliminating over 15 terrorists in a newly identified hideout west of Zuwa in the Sambisa forest, Borno State.
According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF, the operation was conducted on Wednesday under Operation Hadin Kai, following credible intelligence and confirmatory surveillance.
The hideout was harbouring fighters and commanders responsible for recent attacks around Bitta.
The airstrikes destroyed key structures and inflicted significant losses on the terrorists.
