The Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology (NACEST), Makurdi, Benue Stats, has disowned a website purportedly offering admission into NACEST, describing it as fake.

In a statement, Acting Assistant Director Army Public Relations of the College, Capt N. Okezie, said the fake website also claimed to be receiving acceptance fee from applicants.
Okezie added that the college has no knowledge of this illegal portal (www.nacest.com) nor does the college have any link with the portal.
“For the avoidance of doubt, accurate information about all the programmes run by Nigerian Army College of Environmental Science and Technology can be obtained on the NACEST website: www.nacest.edu.ng.
“Importantly also, application forms into any programme of the College are obtained only through the application platform: www.nacest.edu.ng. All payments are equally made online through the application platform,” Okezie said.
The college spokesperson cautioned the general public against any dealings with this website:www.nacest.com. as anyone who transacts any business with it does so at his or her risk.
