Chief Whip of the Senate, Orji Uzor Kalu, said that his two cell phones containing the MTN and Glo lines had been stolen.
Taking to his Facebook page on Thursday to report the theft, Kalu also cautioned members of the public against reciprocating activities involving the phones.
He said they were stolen during the collection of his Certificate of Return at the International Conference Center (ICC), Abuja.
He appealed to the public to provide useful information that may lead to the recovery of the two phones, adding that his network providers had also been duly informed.
“This is to notify the public to beware of any illicit activity involving my cell phones and numbers.
“During the collection of the Certificate of Return at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, my cell phone with MTN and Glo lines, were stolen by a yet-to-be-identified person(s).
“My network providers have been duly informed. Please don’t hesitate to provide any useful information. OUK”, Kalu wrote.
