Baze University Don, Abiodun Adeniyi, has lost his mother, Mrs Lucy Okoh Adeniyi, the family announced in the morning of Sunday, November 7, 2021.
She died Saturday night in Ogidi-Ijumu, Kogi State, aged 90, after a brief illness.
The Conclave reports that the late Mrs Adeniyi was a businesswoman and a devout catholic, who lived between Lagos and Lokoja, Kogi State, before settling in her ancestral home of Ogidi, in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, after her retirement.
She is survived by three offspring, including Lady Elizabeth Oloruntobi (nee Adeniyi), Pastor Michael Adeniyi of Family Worship Centre, Abuja, and Professor Adeniyi of Baze University, Abuja.
Burial arrangements, as gathered, would be announced soon by the family.
