Hajia Maryam Namadi, the mother of Jigawa State Governor Mallam Umar Namadi, had died.
The news was contained in a statement by the Governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Hamisu Mohammed Gumel. The statement confirmed that she died early on Wednesday.
Her burial was scheduled for 4:30 pm today in her hometown of Kafin Hausa, Jigawa State, in accordance with Islamic burial rites.
